The purpose of the meeting was to update and share information with Civil Society, Dept of Health and ECHO study sites in preparation for release of the study findings. The meeting also planned to develop a roadmap to chart the key activities for preparing for the ECHO results release and prepare messaging and a communication plan that will ensure there is timely, accurate, cohesive and coordinated dissemination of the ECHO study results that put women at the centre, and are framed within the broader context of FP and HIV prevention needs for women. Busi Maphumulo, MRU project Manager presented the ECHO study update on behalf of the ECHO Consortium to the meeting participants.
