Jenni Smit, Zonke Mabude and Mags Beksinska attend the ECHO Investigators meeting 19-20 June 2019

Following the presentation of the ECHO trial results  at the SAAIDS conference on the 13th June and the publication of the results in the lancet on the same day (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/31204114 , the ECHO Investigators  met the following week in Johannesburg (19/20 June). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss dissemination progress, manuscript development of ancillary and secondary papers, possible follow-on research and to celebrate the success of the ECHO trial.  The meeting was attended by Jenni Smit, Zonke Mabude and Mags Beksinska of MRU.
